Monday will see a high temperature in the mid 40s with overcast skies, light rain, drizzle and patchy fog for much of today as the warm front slowly approaches from the west, according to the National Weather Service.

The front will then pass through to the north Monday night into Tuesday morning, with above normal temperatures continuing.

Areas north of I-84 will be at the highest risk for the freezing precipitation that could create a slick coating on roadways from Monday to Tuesday.

The heavy rainfall and potential for isolated thunderstorms will develop Tuesday as the high temperature reaches the low 50s. The strong wind gusts will be most prevalent near any heavier showers or thunderstorms.

As the front passes through Tuesday evening, rain will rapidly end from west to east. Gusty winds will continue following the front into Tuesday night.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high around 40.
